A leap refers to a skill that takes of from one foot and lands on the other foot, it can also land on the same foot in the case of swithc leaps.

These may include

split leaps
side split leaps
switch split leaps
switch side leaps
cat leaps
scissor leaps
ring leaps
stag leaps
and so on

a jump takes off from two feet and lands on two feet.

such as

tuck jumps
C jumps (arch jumps)
Toe touches (russions)
split jumps
stag jumps
and heaps more
