hey everyone. we are having a 3-day camp at our school run by the UCA and our coaches are there but they aren't the ones teaching. yesterday was the first day and there were 5 girls who wanted to try flying including me. at this point there is room for only 3 flyers. i tried with one stunt group and did really well but the other girl that tried with that stunt group was a really good flyer so they used her instead. now today they just decided to use the groups from yesterday which left me nowhere. i really want to fly and i wasn't bad at it (according the the bases i had yesterday). but now they aren't even giving me a chance to fly and so for 2 hours today i stood there off to the side doing nothing watching the 3 stunt groups. =[
does anyone know how i should go about this. the cheers they are teaching us at the camp are ones we are using for games so i would need to do something quick before we learn many more cheers and i'm stuck doing nothing in all of them. i don't see why we can't have different flyers for different cheers? advice please. thanks!! 1 Replies to Flyer? Last year I was a flyer. So let’s see...
On my squad, they are very picky about who goes up because of the safety of the flyers and the bases (everyone in the stunt). At the first practice, they put two flyers to a stunt then select the one that suits the stunt group better. From the start, they say that if you really want to fly prove to them that you are the better flyer and mention that you want to be considered. Basically showing off your best skills. For example, I am very flexible. I showed my coaches my scorpion and they were amazed. Show your coaches that you are the right person. I would also mention to them that you really want to fly. They might give you another chance.
Good Luck. If you really want to fly, you should be given the chance. |
