Nope, it's a straight up historical account. The writing style is nice, but it's not dressed up as anything other than a biography.

Though it does have pictures...

I've just finished reading Montana 1948 by Larry Watson. (We were reading it for English.) A lot of people in my class really disliked it, but I thought it was a good book (with heaps to write essays about. :P)

I am currently reading "Ballerina" by Gabriel Barylli. www.amazon.de . . .

It's a wonderful ... book about a murder at the Vienna Opera, lifting several nice "inside" sceneries about the ballet world. Lovely to read, and so many truths in it!

The Bourne Identity, by Robert Ludlum.

I'll admit, it was hard to get into, especially after seeing the films. The books take place in the 70's, and there are very few similarities with the films. I am anxious to finish it and the rest of the series, though.

After I complete this, I am hoping to of course read the last two books in the series, as well as "Eclipse" by Stephenie Meyer, and to re-read the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" books. ;)

I picked up The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger at our school library today while I was on the search for some Tolstoy and/or Jane Austen. Unfortunately I couldn't find either, but I stumbled upon The Devil Wears Prada and I really enjoyed the movie, so I thought I'd read the book! I enjoy it so far, but the movie is definately more up to date.

I started a thread about it on this board, if anybody wants to know what it's about. Hahaha.

I'm starting Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen tonight. I'm really excited because I LOVE the movie (1995...A&E version) I mean, I know it's probably not a lot like the the movies, but I just can't wait to read it. :D
