Ok i should have the entire cast here! which should be four corps memebers (there are six but i want fred casely dressed as fred casely for this routine, same with mama) fred casely, mama, roxie, velma, amos, and billy

ok the stage at this point is gonna have a platform about a foot and a half high in the back on the platform will be a chair facing front then on stage right there will be a chair facing to the side and on the right side another chair facing the opposite way in the middle in front of the plat form will be a chair facing backwards. then off to the left diagnol will be chair facing the left diagnol and facing to the side but going towards the middle of the stage in the back right corner is another chair.

on the platform i want velma sitting in the chair with her legs open bending forward with elbows resting on her thighs, hands relaxed.
on the right side of the platform i want billy facing the side. arms crossed, standing straight.
then on the left side of the plat form i want a crops member sitting, legs hanging off the platform, legs crossed, the foot touching the floor just relaxed, other foot pointed, the arm facing the audience (the right hand) resting over your head, the other arm just laying on your lap
on the chair in the back right corner i want amos sitting with his legs open just resting back on the chair relaxed. then i want roxie one foot proped up on the chair in between amos' legs
on the chair in the middle i want a corps member sitting facing forward which means shes sitting backwards on the chair, arms folded and resting on the back of the chair and head cocked to the side a little looking down.
for the chair on the right side i want a corps member sitting on the floor in front of it hugging their legs head down, burried in her knees
on the chair on the left i want the last corps member standing on the side of it, facing the back, with their right hand on the chair and leg in tondu to the side.

ok everyone get their stage directions for the opening?

i think i counted you guys already...we had a pretty small corps, the rest of you guys are all playing other roles at the moment, but if not you guys just fill in standing somewhere with at least one arm up and one leg tondued to any angle.

Great! :) I just picked a corps member to be in the beginning so here is my opening pose:
*on the chair in the middle i want a corps member sitting facing forward which means shes sitting backwards on the chair, arms folded and resting on the back of the chair and head cocked to the side a little looking down*

Great poses Emi! :)

ohh im so excited i just wanna start the choreography so ill just start and the rest of the cast can catch up when the get here!!

ok for the first count of 4 (count it kinda slowly) everyone just hold their beggining position, then over the next four counts i want everyone to get into and hold an extension.

i want kristie to stand up and pull her leg into a heel stretch and lean to the side so its tilted.

Ashley i want you to keep the one foot on the chair, then if you can arch back and touch your hands on the platform (the chair should be close enough to the platform to do this) so that you're doing a back bend with one leg on the chair and the other on the floor, now if you're flexible enough could you lift the leg thats on the chair straight up. so your final extension is a back bend to the platform with one leg pointing to the ceiling. if you cant do this just tell me and ill change it. oh also since im gonna have caitlin spotting you, could you possibly take one hand and reach it forward so you're holding yourself up with just one hand, i want you to do this cuz im gonna have whoever is playing fred casely reching for your hand.

now caitlin, when ashley does her back bend to the platform, i want you to spot her back, so one hand on the small of her back, then put the other hand on her neck, so it looks like you're dipping her down into the position.

OK heather, you're gonna stand up on the chair and hold the back of the chair, and then the bottom of the chair and do a right needle, and i'll do the same on the platform with my chair except ill do a left needle.

and ballet babe, i would like for you to slide from the tondu all the way down into a middle split, still holding onto the chair, and once you get down put both arms up in the air and flex them.

can everyone do their extensions?

great ok, now i need billy to say "5.6.7.8" you can hear it in the music, billy you're gonna have a fedora on, you know one of those hats that people like al capone and the gangsters in the 1940's wore. i think he has it in the movie, anyway youre gonna look up from under the brim of the hat and snap along when you say it. the rest of you just hold your extensions.
