Locked by KangarooPaw (131132) on 2007-09-13 08:59:22 Due to confusion and a lot of fighting over who runs VIS I'm not assuming the position of manager of jazz dept until everythiing gets clarified and Oranges takes charge. =)
First of all, I'd like to announce that the jazz department is under new management- ME!!

I'm very open to suggestions, comments, etc., so please don't hesitate to PM me with
anything. I've been a member for over 2 years now and have quite a bit of experience around DDN, so anything you need, I can more than likely help you out. Also for those wondering, I have quite a bit of knowledge in Jazz, seeing as I have 16 years of Jazz under my belt.

I'm also open to critique of my management, so please feel free to express a dislike of anything I do as manager.
Now, on for the actual point of the post.
I am looking for an assistant manager. It will be a minor thing, someone who will help me with new concepts and ideas to be used this year in the department, finalizing new classes, deciding who will be a teacher, etc. Please reply to this post or PM me with any interest in the position.
Also, I plan on being able to teach at least 2 different classes- one being Stretch, which has its own thread in this department already. Also Intermediate/Advanced Jazz, possibly even combining the two into a class that's in between those 2 levels for those who feel they're at a higher standard than plain intermediate but not quite ready for advanced.
Any interest in assistant managing, any ideas or thoughts, comments, questions, etc are welcome to reply here. Basically, if you have anything at all to say, feel free to reply, or if you'd rather PM me, go for it.
Thanks guys, and let's make the jazz department a fun place to be this year!
