^^^ I'm so there! haha! It probably does seem a bit more humorous when you've been doing schoolwork! I replied earlier RIGHT after I wrote a paper... so I can definately relate to that!

"Quaint" is the word that comes to my mind. I hardly think of it as offensive, although it isn't truly an accurate representation of modern Highland Dancing.

To me, it looked something like someone who had once learned the Fling long ago, and was trying to recall it without revisiting the steps.

Cute for its purpose, though. I have to wonder now, how our Highland choreographies of the early 1990s (pre-River Dance era!) that incorporated some Irish dancing would have looked to REAL Irish dancers. THAT thought is the one that REALLY makes me cringe!
