Taps for Kickline or Military? en>fr fr>en

Does anybody still use taps to punctuate kickline or military routines? This used to be rather common in the 60's, especially with precision groups like the Apache Belles, who could hold their own with the Rockettes in precision tap, even on those slippery brick streets of Tyler.

Teams out here in East Texas use them quite often still, including the Apache Belles.

Thanks! I'm glad such tap traditions continue; although the quality of today's boots for tap-kick is pretty dismal. "Nancy" boots look good but have hollow heels with thin toplifts and soles that barely hang onto the tap screws or nails. Leather soles and hardwood heels would be a big help; but it won't happen in a low cost boot.

Kickline wasn't made for the silent footfall!
