Does anyone have the Nicole wig from 4irishdancers.net? I might be getting it for Christmas so I was wondering if anyone had an opinion.
Thanks! 16 Replies to The Nicole Wig |

Beautiful wig! Lasts forever! Well, almost! Season of Feisannas and performances and STILL looks great! |

I do! It's lovely, relatively inexpensive, and arrives quickly. I can't tell you how many people have asked me, "How do you keep your wig so shiny???"
I'm thinking of getting a loose curl one though, just to be more current. |

i also just recently had a nicole wig that i bought in person from reel curls (western region- usually california) and its such a beautiful wig. it lasted forever, but unfortunately, i dyed my hair back to my darker hair colour and it looked funny on me (the wig was ashy light brown and my hair turned to my natural chesnut/chocolate brown lol)
was such a good buy though! |

I agree with all the above posters as well; I got my wig from Celtic Curls (GREAT customer service!!) and although it's still relatively new, it looks awesome and feels a lot fuller and mature than my previous wig (Megan from Youngblood). I feel it fits my head nicely without looking humungous!! I REALLY love it!! |

I currently wear the Celtic Creations Aoife and while I absolutely love the way it looks, it frizzes like no tomorrow. But the main reason for this wig is that I have a large head. Does anyone know whether the Nicole has a bit larger head-cap? Because I love the way it looks.
Also: does anyone know of a European vendor? |

Cluich~ My Nicole has a full head cap, it could go from the top of my forehead to my neck! It is really big I don't wear it that way of course, but it hangs a bit on the bottom and is looser, not that you could notice but I know it's a bit big.... I don't think I have a small head either.... FYI hope it helps,.. |

Hello Cluich!
My daughter is wearing the Nicole wig and for her it`s too big, we have to add a "wig-lifter" to give her the right fit.
I would say order from a US Shop, the dollar exchange rate is great at the moment and I´m sure that I paid less shipping costs than from England or Ireland(from the US to Germany). I could advise you celticcurls, great customer service.
Hope that helps! |

If it makes any difference, I strongly recommend getting it from Celtic Curls versus another company. No one has anything but amazing things to say about Karen and I've experienced the great customer service firsthand. |

Thank you! The Euro-Dollar rate is great at the moment, but I'm always a bit scared of custom duties which don't happen within the European Union of course. Does anyone know whether the colour 12 for the Nicole is the same as the 12 for the CC Aoife?
I have ordered from Celtic Curls before and I fully agree with the above posters about their great service!
Why oh why does my car need replacing? I'll be so broke -- after I've bought a new (well, used) car AND ordered that wig of course ... |

I have the Nicole as well, and I really like it. The curls look really nice, they stay together, it's not a HUGE wig -- which I love--, all in all, it just looks really classy.
Here's a picture of mine---
Although I LOVE my wig, I do have to agree with Cluich, I have been noticing that mine is frizzing a LOT, even though I hardly ever touch it and keep it in great care. You can easily fix that though, if you go through and trim all the frizzed hairs. (VERY CAREFULLY!!) |

^ You mean the Nicole frizzes so badly? Because I was talking about my Aoife and people said that the Nicole didn't frizz nearly as much as some other wigs. |

here's a picture of me in my new (and first) wig! I made a new headband today that I like more, I'll post that picture later. I also figured out how to secure my wig and deal with my very short hair today - hooray! |
