Hello! My name is Sierra. But my DDN name is, as you can see, EchoDancer. You can call me Sierra or Echo. =] I suppose that I should tell you all about me. Let's see... You can view my surprisingly longish profile if you want more info on me. I shall begin...
Name: Sierra or Echo
Age: 14 (well, I will be on December 31)
Dance: Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Character, and Jazz
Ballet: I have danced ballet since I was 6- I love it more than anything in this world and couldn't live without it. When I am not dancing I feel empty and hollow. I know many variations. Including several from: Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Giselle and several other smaller variations.
Lyrical: I just started this year and I really like it so far.
Modern: I've been doing modern for 3 years. I believe that I am very good at it. I dance Martha Gram style.
Character: Love it! Danced it for 3 years, also. I love the emotions you can show.
Jazz: I must say that jazz is my least best dance. I enjoy it, but I am not that good. lol.

Nutcracker: I am in the Nutcracker. At my school, the only youth parts are: Mice, Party Children, Clara, and Soldiers. I was Clara 2 years ago. I am now to old and too tall (5'7") to play Clara. So I am a boring soldier. Oh well!

About Me: I guess you could say that I have two sides. My elegant ballerina side and my crazy teenager side. =]
'Elegant Teenager': I enjoy baking, making crafts, hiking, walking, running, going fast, dancing, listening to classical music, writing, science and DDN.
'Crazy Teenager': I love to have sleepovers, go crazy, I am slightly hyper, love rocking and rolling, love to be funny, love to chat online, and love DDN.

I consider myself a loyal DDN/VIS/Fouette' Dorm member. I will always be active. I will always tell the truth.

I am currently running for Event Coordinator! Please vote for me- I have some nifty ideas!

2. Valentines Parties for Valentines Day.

4. Spirit Week. Ex: Harry Potter Day, Ballerina Day, Twin Day, Twilight Day, Character Day. (And any ideas that you would like to contribute).
5. Donate-An-Icon: Each person who is able, will make an icon for someone else.
6. Make-An-Advertisement: Just for fun. Each person makes an ad for their profile/website/made-up product and tries to sell it. We will vote on our favorite.
7. Story telling.
8. Avatar Day: Everyone has the same avatar for one day. We see who gets the most comments.
9. Birthday Parties... of course. =]
10. Decorating Contests (Becky, are we allowed to have contests?)
11. Activities for getting more members.

I have many more ideas, too. I am very easy to contact and I will always reply back to PMs and posts within 24 hours. (Unless I have made prior arrangements).

Here is one idea that I will immediately do as soon as possible, if elected. I will come up with some ideas for getting new members. Because once we are more settled, (with the Newsletter, too) I think that we should start trying to get more members. We can PM all of our friends (don't overdo it, we don't want to get people mad at us. ) We can also see if there is a way to post on the General Board... or somewhere other than VIS. Many people don't know about VIS, so I'm sure that many people would be willing to join if they here about us. We could also get people to join VIS, even if it isn't Fouette'. I think that if there were more people in VIS, we could have VIS in general much more active. I also think that if we have more activities, more people will want to be active.

Oh and another idea:

We will start planning parties and things like that, when everyone will be able to be online. So we could all talk at once. I was thinking that we could call these 'parties' live parties. They aren't all really parties, but things to that extent. We will have one for every holiday. They don't have to be live, of course. I suppose that we could do a poll on if live parties are a good idea. We could also do some for Birthdays, and any other occasion.

Also: I will always post polls for major activities. I will never make a decision without asking all of you first. And if anyone comes up with an activity that we do, I will give that person credit.

One more thing... I thought that I wrote this in my first post, but I am homeschooled. What I am trying to say is... I am usually on from 8:00-2:30 everyday. (Times vary on the weekend). But I am on for more than 5 hours each day. And I can guarantee that I will be on for at least 2 hours per day during winter break.

I understand that this did get a little bit out of control. BUT, if you guys would like to start it up again, just let me know. I think that we could set up some ground rules. But I don't think that it is fair to post in other dorms (unless we can get them to agree). But I'm not sure... this may end up flooding our dorms. What do you think? Maybe we could just make one huge board that all posts about Truth or Dare could go there. Like you can't post outside of that... What do you think?
Anyways that is a subject that I will bring up if I become Event Coordinator.

My Winter Break Schedule

December 24 - 25: There is a chance that I won't be online.
December 26 - January 1: I will be on everyday. Although it may not be for as long as normal.
January 2 +: My normal schedule will resume. 8:00 - 2:30 Monday - Friday. Times vary on Saturday and Sunday.

I was thinking of some more activities...

1. Riddles- We post riddles for everyone to figure out.
2. Music Sharing- We can post our favorite songs and share with each other.
3. Movie Nights- We all gather virtually to watch movies and eat popcorn.
4. Sleepovers would be good, too. We could eat chips, give makeovers, and talk about boys.
5. DDN Favorite Sharing- We share our favorite DDN boards all in one thread.
6. Poetry/Writing Activities: We can share stories and poems that we've written. Perhaps even make a story together...
7. Emotional support- We can have a sticky just for anyone who needs a shoulder to cry on.
8. We will have polls whenever I or someone else comes up with an idea for an activity!
