Info.

Hey! As the event coordinator, I came up with a great idea to get our board active, and talking. I'm calling it the WELCOME THE NEW YEAR PARTY, and it will be held in chat. I'll make a private room, and we can talk about our resolutions, our past year, dancing, and more! The date I was thinking of holding it on, is January 3/4, but I know some girls that go back to school on that day. (I don't go back until the 7th.) I'm making these sign up sheets, so I can tell the leaders of our dorm, and the mods, how many people we are going to have, and how long, and what time. These forms also include questions that will virtually make it more fun! You do not have to come, but it would be great if you would sign up, to get an idea of people's perfrences and avalibility times.

If you have any questions about anything, the time, dates, what do bring/wear, and anything else, please contact me, by PMing me, or on my personal pages such as myspace and AIM.

Name: Echo
DDN Name: Echodancer
Age: 14 =] muahuahua.
Date you can attend the party: Hmmm.. Saturdays after 3:30 are good, but I'm going out of town THIS WEEKEND. I have ballet starting the 1st. And school starts on the 7th. So... Monday-Friday from 10-1 I am available. PROBABLY. I have private lessons almost everyday, so I don't know.
Times you can attend the party(make it an hour, at least): From 10-1 Monday-Friday. BUT, I will have private lessons at unknown times, shopping trips, and I'm going out of town this weekend.
What Food you will bring: Chocolate strawberries. =] yummy.
What you will wear: Not sure... Maybe a tank and jeans?
What do you think? Private Room, or public?: Private, although with public, we might be able to convince some people to join us.
Would you like more chat parties for holidays?: Lets see how this one goes, first. Kay?
Are you sure you can attend?: Well, I need the day and time first, silly!
Would you be able to attend future parties at the same times?: -_- I don't know when we're doing it! BUT if it is when I suggested, I can. Although no one else will be able to. I will probably suggest Saturday or Sunday during school seasons. =]

Name: Tess
DDN Name: step_at_a_time
Age: Yaaaaargh! I reserve the right to remain silent :P My mental age is often between 5 and 18?!

Date you can attend the party: Either is fine.

Times you can attend the party(make it an hour, at least):
Taking into account time-zone differences... between 9am and 8pm EST arrival on the 4th (or any tues, weds, fri, sat, sun) but 3rd (Thursdays) between 2pm and 8pm EST. Mondays after 6pm EST. No worries, if it's a time that is good GMT I will be there, if not - tis okay and maybe another time.

What Food you will bring:Pizza, Cherryade, Pringles and dip (Yay for internet parties, I can eat dairy without worrying! Lol) mini-veggie-spring-rolls and sweet chilli dip.

What you will wear: New purple tweed-y skirt and black jumper. Black ribbed tights and mid-calf boots. Good chance I will wear some sort of deely boppers on my head or a cheap tiara :) I like sparklies (one of the bonuses to being a girl.)

What do you think? Private Room, or public?:
Private. Though I haven't used chat at all yet on DDN. But on other forums I usually found that parties worked better in private rooms otherwise there was too much confusion and cross-chatting. People coming in and wondering what on earth was going on! And then overriding party chat with other topics until no one knew who was talking to who or about what!

Would you like more chat parties for holidays?:
Yup. Chat parties are fun. Though post/thread parties can be good too... or having a thread (rather like this) to plan parties! Had one that people posted pics of lights and outfits and music suggestions and decorations and stuff in the lead up to the party.

Are you sure you can attend?:
Nope. Depends on time and date. And even then I can't guarantee that something won't come up to alter my plans (part of the annoyances of adult life.) But excluding illness, housefires, sick pets, sick friends, friends in crisis, family deaths, emergency house repairs.... I would almost-certainly be there....
Probably standing in a corner like a geek for a while.
But would be nice to get to know people a bit.

Would you be able to attend future parties at the same times?: Probably. Same with potential-for-life-things-to-coincide-and-prevent. But otherwise times and days are fine.

:]
