Is it true that during the summer, activeness starts up again in the Dorms and VIS?

If not, then I propose a suggestion: What would you think about combining the dorms, so that we have a total of 2 dorms, instead of 4?

There are about 4-6 active members in each dorm, so if we combined, then we could have 16+ active members. =] What do you think?

If more than just me likes this idea, perhaps we could present it to Oranges. But I will need some support, first.

One of the vice presidents already told us how much of a pain it would be to combine the dorms.
And I agree with her.
I think it will be much mroe work than needed, and in my opinion, it doesn't make sense.

Yes I know she did, Mandy. But if everyone wanted to do it, then she might change her mind.
It doesn't make sense!? It makes a ton of sense! We could have more active members, therefore more games, and activities. We only have about 5-6 active members here. I mean, sorry, but that is barely any. And all of the other dorms are begging to be active.
I think that it does make sense.
But that's your opinion.

Also, that would be a lot of work for Andrew. Plus, we would have to start from scratch and get things rolling again. That might not be too much fun

Ther are so many "what ifs". I like Mandy, I'm still trying to make a decision. But I kinda like the way things are right now.

Oranges already said that its too much work. I also dont think its right to 'gang up' on her about it. Im sure she gave the idea thought.
All the dorms go through stages of inactiveness. There is heaps of work in creating just two dorms. The organisation etc!

Our dorm is pretty active atm. Though someday I still believe there is too many chiefs not enough indians but meh.

And we wouldn't be "ganging up" on her. I just think that if everyone wanted to do it, then maybe she would see reason or change her mind.
Because if the dorms aren't active for months at a time.. that's ridiculous. Why shouldn't we make it easier for everyone?

Echo - The idea is great in theory. But I don't think it would work on the VIS boards. From the response on the other boards, the people who have responded think that same thing.
Maybe 'ganging up' was the wrong word. But trying to persuade her/other VIS leaders with more people would seem a bit mean. I personally would hate to be in that position.
A couple of months ago Arabesque was the most active dorm. And fouette was dead. Now fouette is the most active dorm and everywhere else is dead.

Activeness doesn't count on who's active for one day.
And like I said, Becky, this is just an idea that I was presenting to everyone.
