my dance teacher taught me how to do the turtle, but i can't spin with it yet, i can only hold it for a while... does anyone know how i can build up the strength or even how to spin with it?? i always end up falling when i try to turn and i don't wanna end up breaking a wrist or something.. any help would be great!! thanks! =]

Lots and lots of push-ups and reps of weight-training arm builders. You specifically need very strong hand, wrist and forearm muscles to do the spins, but you also need bi- and tri-ceps and a strong core of abs to keep the spin going. Using therabands is a good way to start to build muscles, but you will also want to make sure that you have a set program designed for you by your teacher or a fitness trainer so that you build muscles correctly and also tone the muscles by stretching properly.
