Hey I was just wondering if anyone here is a soccer player. Two of my friends are on a soccer team where I live and are trying to talk me in to joining them. I think it looks really fun and I would love to try it but the most I've ever done with a soccer ball is play with my cousins in the back yard...They keep saying I'd be good because I'm fast but I dunno, is it a really hard sport to learn? I wouldn't want to join the team and then not know what I'm doing. Can anyone who plays soccer give me their opinion? Thanks!

I played soccer for two seasons and then quit, mainly because it was too hard to balance my dance, school and soccer but if you want to, go for it. No one is good at something the first time they try it, and i'm sure your highly coordinated because you dance so it definitley will help with your ball handling. I'd say there really shouldn't be anything stopping you, and if it just never clicks you can always just stop. go for it!

I've been playing soccer since I was 4. I absoulutly love it. If your athletic and willing to devote yourself it won't be hard. Depending on what level your at it could be hard,or easy. GOOD LUCK
