I was wondering, are there are any pro squads out there who actually stunt and jump, that are actually more true to what cheerleading really is? just curious, it's not something you really see.

Edmonton Eskimo cheerleaders jump and stunt, and also have male cheerleaders.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers stunt and jump as well, they're an all female team.

i'm in a cheer team in bristol called the crusaders and we do stunts, jumps, dance and tumbling.
we also go to competitions and compete against other squads who do the same thing, so there are quite a few.. i guess it's not just very well known or popular in the uk yet..

Well, it depends. If you're talking about things like the NFL and NBA, no, not so much. Although, I know for a fact that the Denver Nuggets basketball team has both the "traditional" cheerleading/dance team that most NBA squads and a separate co-ed stunting squad that does stuff at half time. I've seen some of their stuff, it's pretty insane stunting.

I know a lot of other kinds of teams have stunts and jumps, but those are like soccer teams and other stuff. You know: the kinds of teams that locally, people have probably heard of, but not the stuff that's really all that famous. I know some of our local teams are like that.
