I don't know what I would do but for sock glue! It not only helps with poodle socks, it also works with other clothes (like straps that won't stay put!) and washes off with water- just dan't leave it on too long or you might get a rash (like I did one St. Pat's day weekend!)

I had borrowed my friends and it worked great my socks did move at all I loved it the funny thing is the friend I borrowed it from had hers falling down.I guess she didn't use enough.
but I really love it I just wish I had gotten my own bottle I guess at my next feis I'll buy some.
but I highly recommend it if you've never used it before, although it seems like almost all of you have.

Guess what everyone! I finally tried sock glue! It felt fine. But the problem was I didn't put enough on! I will have to put more on next time!

Ok, slight hijack for a funny sock glue story.

I took my mom to a feis this past weekend (I don't compete) and she asked "how do they get their socks to stay up when they are flopping their legs around like that." I of course said glue. She looked at me like I was nuts, and then I pointed out a girl who was sagging on the insides of her legs where the glue had come unstuck. My mom said she wished she had sock glue when she was a little girl in the 60s trying to wear her knee socks. She used rubber bands and she said she recalled her legs being slightly numb all winter long from mid calf down.

ah sock glue is one of the best things that has ever happened to me! lol I even got my friends on it, for halloween we were referees and we couldnt keep our leggins up. Afterwards my friends was like "Ugh! We should of used your sock glue to keep them up!" And i once glued my brothers sleeve onto his arm showing him how it worked hahaha... But all in all, i love sock glue its great.

sock glue helps so much! even though the stick feeling is really the greatest, it saves you at competitions!

I used sock glue on one of the performances and my mom put it on for me! She put it on but accident higher then my sock so I had sock glue on my knee while I was dancing! Then later on there was a stage that like my teacher brought so we can dance on it. It was one of those portable stage. I forgot I had sock glue on my knee! And my dance shoes were under a table(I had to change shoes) The stage was right next to the table and I knelt down to get my shoes and like the stage kind of came up with me! And then like my knee ripped off of it and I was like oww! what was that! I really didn't know what it was till i looked at my knee I had like the paint of the stage on my knee because of the sock glue! Now I knowsock glue is very strong! lol

No but seriously, isn't it hilarious when you pull your socks off then put on say trackpants. You go to take your trackies off and they've stuck to you half way down your thing, they when you manage to remove them, you have a line of coloured fluff at the calf level! ATTRACTIVE REALLY!

I think it's great! I mean I've never seen anything work as well to keep socks up! The only thing I don't like about it is that sometimes it leaks out of the container.

I love sock glue, but i do agree that it can get kind of messy! haha

Love the stuff! I believe all dances should wear it. I hate it when you're watching a dancer, and their socks start to fall down. So distracting. And no, it doesn't hurt, even if you haven't shaven

I love sock glue haha. Its rather handy for holding up a pair of high heels I have that the straps of always slip down and also for strapless dresses! LOL.

What would I do without it!

personally, I hate it, but it's really helpful at competitions. It's not uncomfortable at all when you're dancing. I would shave your legs before you wear it, though. It won't pull hair out, but it hurts a little bit when you take it off, so that probably wouldn't help much. also, don't wear jeans after. you'll have blue all over where the sock glue is and it's a pain to get off.

I compete a LOT and sock glue doesn't hurt however I have sensitive skin so I break out in hives if I don't wash it off within the next few hours. It doesn't hurt but it might make your sking itchy.

My dd hates sock glue, but i keep telling her if she doesnt wear it her socks will fall down. Her big sisters on the other hand love it not to keep thier socks up but to keep dresses and tops in place and to stop bra straps slipping!!

I LOVE sock glue! (As a guy, it might be a little disconcerting to say that, but whatever.) My socks tend to fall down easily during a feis, so I glue them right up there.

I love sock glue! I use it to keep up my leg warmers, and my poodle socks would be in sorry shape without it.

Two of my dance friends and I are going to prom together, and we all plan on using it to keep our dresses in place!

I can recall that at one of my first feises, I simply did not want to wear sock glue! My mom insisted, but I resisted. I danced and got second place. On my comment sheet, the judge wrote, "Beautiful dance- needs sock glue".

So ever since then, I've worn sock glue for EVERY feis! It deffinetly does not hurt, and does a great job and keeping your socks up and even. Just make sure that you apply it at the same part of each leg so you don't have different length socks on

The first time my girls saw Irish dancers was at a St. Pat's show in Boston. They were watching the "big girls" prepare and they were fascinated with the sock glue. Once they started lessons, it was a bigger deal to get the sock glue than the poodle socks or gillies!!!!

I used to hate sock glue, but now I love it. I wear it for classes. It bugs me sooo much when socks fall down!
