Ipswich seems to produce a lot of good dancers - reminds me a lot of Wollongong. Smallish 'place', not one of the big cities, but a LOT of good dancers.

Camilla really blew me away with Big Spender - I don't really know if any of the other girls could have danced it like that.

Darn. I fell asleep on the couch halfway through tonight's show. How wrecked am I?

I'm not a huge fan of Camilla. Her routine wasn't that great, I don't think. It seemed out of unison, Camilla was lacking in 'oomph'... I don't know, it didn't quite work out right.

I can't remember much of the others. I think I thought the contemporary lyrical wasn't bad and Marko? His routine seemed okay... from the distance lol.

Alas, I missed tonight's episode. Somewhere in the world, a cricket match was on, and therefore from about 7pm onwards the TV has been comandeered by my mother.

I want to try Animation Hip-Hop. I would never be able to do it in a thousand years... but it looks so awesome that I'd just have to give it a go.

I missed the first hour tonight, till sis came to get me. I saw from Laura onwards.

I wasn't a huge fan of Camilla to start off with, but I really liked her last week. Can't pinpoint why, and didn't see her tonight so I don't know if it's a permanent change.

what was the last dance? my dvd recorder stoped recording at rhys (is that how you spell it?)
anyway, the show was just a little better than last week, but still not 'amazing' yet. i did like the lyrical comtemp number (go figure ~ cause that is my style...lol) i did agree that the girl (cassie? was it?) landed hard on some points. the disco was cute, not a "WOW" but cute. the little ballerina girl doing hip hop was not amazing, but they made such a HUGE deal of this different style for her (which is sooo true, but that is what the show is about, ALL styles of dance, dont cry cause you get something totally different) but she is so sweet, it makes you want to like her. ok questions, what is swing/hip hop? LOL that number was hard to watch because that girl was just terrible, like she wasnt even giving 70% much less 100% not my cup of tea i guess. hilton is still one of my favorites! he is just so cute and reminds me of a guy i use to dance with back when i was in high school. the girl he is with now is nice too, they might be my fav couple.

I love Rhys. He's got such an expressive face, and every movement he makes has intent. There's very little filler with Rhys - he doesn't move for the sake of it and he doesn't waste energy preparing for his next move, or travelling to where he needs to be. He's fabulous.

UberPhat - that questionnaire sounds like a nightmare. If it were me, I'd just leave those bits blank. I've spent thirteen years coming to terms with my "sob story" and it drives me nuts when people try to make it into one.

I really liked Demi's samba- she did so well. Although, am I the only one who is driven nuts by the excuses some of the dancers give when they get critiques from the judges????Argh! You're dancers- you take the crits on board and work on stuff- not stand there and say oh, well it's not in my style blah blah blah- that is the whole point for crying out loud- to develop versatility. Okay, rant over.

I thought Sunday's show was better than last weeks.I have to say I was amazed at how well Demi did. She really pulled the Samba off!!!!! I also think Vanessa did a good job with the animation Hip Hop routine.
But I think overall my favourite was probably the Disco one and the one at the beginning with Kate.
I think Staphanie and JD were the weakest dancers last night!

How did Sarah end up doing? Is she in the top 20?

Sarah was let go in top 100 after the ballroom routine I think- too bad, I think she had a lot of potential to benefit from the show.

hummmm they have done some strange things for "TV" but WHY did they let hilton go? my hubby said it might have been that they are not getting enough votes in so the let go the best, so people will now vote more... well there goes my votes, i am done!
i agree about the choice about cassie. her solo was terrible in my opinion!

How is that going to get more votes? I'm more likely to watch it less now. The routines have been boring me so what's the point when they lose the more fun people?

Hilton is amazing, and in real life he is just as cool -- but that routine he did for his last chance thing wasn't that amazing. Maybe it was judged on that?

i liked everything i saw about hilton! i said i would not watch it now to my hubby, but to tell you the truth i dont watch much TV and anything about dance is something worth watching i guess.
i wish i could get on and do some choreography! that would be too cool! well, see what happens this sunday

Oh My God THIS SHOW ANNOYS ME SOOOOO MUCH. I absolutely cannot believe that they kicked hilton off. He should have won the whole dam thing. I went tohigh school with him for a bit, he's the like the perfect package. So versatile, awesome performer, not in love with himself and he's a funny guy.
Everytime I go to watch the show, i try to go in open minded, bit always end up getting so frustrated with some of the stupid decisions and choreography.
In saying that, I love the ballroom choreographer who did the jive with Marko and Stephanie - I love how he makes them very modern and interesting for the public who do not understand the technique of ballroom dance. I also loved the lyrical hip hop, hilton and kate's foxtrot, rhys and jemma's waltz and ...oh yeh grahams solo - he was fierce i can definitely see him staying for a while and getting a lot from the compettion.

Obviously I'm fairly opinionated about the show - haha...I think my friends are sick of me blabbing about it.

What was up with Ten's off-key music? Constantly dipping throughout the show.

I'm kind of surprised at Marko leaving. I thought his solo was the best. I really don't like Henry - his solo was like he was trying to make it a sexfest. Andrew had the shirt off too (and was doing a few tricks) but it didn't seem as sleazy.

I'm glad Vanessa got through. Despite the somewhat annoying voice, she's a beautiful dancer.

i think jason said it right, it is australias 'favorite' dancer, not 'best' dancer and i think that is sad. it is a DANCE show not a popularity contest! the dances this week were VERY boring too. oh well like i said before, i hope it will grow better.

I was very disappointed Marko got the boot. He has so much more Talent than some of the other Male dancers. But I have to say I really like all the male dancers.
I think the judges made the right choice with letting Stephanie go. I thought she was a good dancer, but not one of the best.

do you think they are getting all the strong male dancers out so then a girl will win? back in the american SYTYCD this past year was the first year a girl won. just a thought? i like Kate out of the girls.

Well, I dunno but I really think they let the wrong boy and wrong girl go. Laura sux, hard. She's just a lot worse than anyone else on the show, I thought Stephanie really stepped up in her solo last night. And I think that it was a really hard decision coz, befor ethe show last night i made a list of who my top 10 dancers were and they were all three of my boys.
I really wish that Rhianon and JD had gotten into the bottom three, I think they would have gone home like boom

kate is the one who has a different boy each week! lol she was with hilton last week. i think she can do each style well, she is not my favorite by far, but from how the show is going i bet she wins. who knows it seems she has been in the bottom 3 each week so could be australia will vote and she will be out soon too.
i dont even vote cause i agree, the show bugs me a bit. i am just waiting for it to get better!
