I started with ballet, then the next year I added on tap.

I also started with ballet. I then started jazz 1 year later.

Hi. I started with ballet in second grade.

I didn't start jazz till I was in 8th grade!

So it went:
ballet
tap
gymnastics
jazz/hiphop

Well I put ballet but technically I started ballet and tap on the same day. I had ballet first and then we would change into our tap shoes. I don't remember my first ballet class but I DEFINATELY remember the tap portion because I slipped and fell on my butt and started balling.

I started at age 3 in a ballet/tap combo class! I was so cute... lol Our recital was tap, so I voted as tap.

I started at age 3 as well in a ballet/tap combo class, though we actually did a ballet AND a tap in the recital.

Then the next year I took up jazz and acro started when I was 7. After that it was lyrical when I was 10, and contemporary soon after that, and hip hop a couple years later along with partnering.

I wish I had done ballet in the recital. I hated tap when I was little. (now I love it!) It was only because my shoes hurt; I was too young to realize they were too small. And then too young to realize that I didn't have to take combo classes and get stuck with tap forever, so I quit when I was 5. I did cheerleading and gymnastics, and started back up with dance again in 5th grade. Then I took acro, jazz, hip hop, and tap. I didn't start ballet and modern until a year later. . Now I have pointe also.

I first started out with Irish, then I moved on to Lyrical had to quit so now i'm taking Irish and Hip-Hop

Ballet. For 3 months as a 6 year old...

I started out with tap, but I always wanted to try ballet.

I started with ballet my first year. Although I wanted to do tap. But my 2nd year I did both. Then I just did ballet due to money issues. Then my 5th year I started doing tap and ballet again together. I started pointe my 6th year. Did my first solo in pointe and tap my 9th year. And now..Im entering my 12th year of dance in the fall!

I started with ballet when I was 4. Then i stopped for a while, then did jazz, tap and ballet. Then the next year, I did jazz only. Then I stopped for like 2 years and watched my sister do irish dancing, and now I'm doing Irish too! My mom made me do ballet because I was so clumsy and uncoordinated!!! I still am, but when I do my Irish dances, I think it might look a little bit graceful. lol!

I started dancing when I was 4 with a ballet/tap combo class.

I'm going to start going to salsa classes soon. Apparently its a great way to keep fit.

I started ballet when I was about 3 went for a year then quit.
Started ballet and jazz for fun when I was 6
When I was 7/8 I started ballet and tap with a better school, started doing grades etc started doing a modern/jazz class a year later

I have only done Highland dance. But hey, theres still time for me to learn more.
