grr! so presendents day weekend rolls around and all of a sudden we have a contest on a four-day weekend. this wasn't on out orginal schedule so i planned a vacation to my aunts, who lives out of state

Now my instructor is sending out emails that say some people haven't been here this week and that hurts us. And between the snow we've been getting and lack of communtication i haven't been to a practice in over a week!

I don't know maybe i'm wrong. maybe i should of stayed home. I just think a little bit more warnig about the contest would of been nice. I hope my guard isn't too mad at me.

Well, if you had a vacation planned, there's really nothing you can do about that. But I'm not sure what snow and miscommunication have to do with missing rehearsal for a week. There is NO excuse for that. If any of my kids didn't show up for a week, I would write them out of the show.

Don't try to blame anyone else because you didn't know what the rehearsal schedule was. Take some responsibility.
