Legwarmer:
Or maybe they are actually using this thread as it was intended. You know, to share pictures of flexible dancers? Maybe? Because the title is "Flexible". Not "Get in arguments over the internet here". |

You DO realize that this thread was actually meant for pictures and not for people to argue over someone's crotch shot? |

*sigh*
This is to Legwarmer No it appears you are too scared to let the topic drop and not have it revolve around you and your intellectual prose. What is so sad is that you make up these wild observations from a sentence that doesn't remotely say or infer anything that you think it does.
If I could draw you pictures I would, but let me explain this S*L*O*W*L*Y. *sigh* Someone felt that we go and lock threads when disagreements occur such as this. I disagreed and pointed out 10 other threads where similar disagreements occurred and one where Linh unlocked the thread to let the discussion continue. That is what I was referring to when saying I am going to refute information I feel is erroneous. Since I have been a moderator here for 4 years I have a little more background on that information and was only sharing it for other people who really wanted to see both sides of the argument. Where in the heck did I say you should be infallible, OR that the mods are always right? I was talking about why this thread hasn't been locked by ME or another moderator. There has been an effort to get the thread back on track by me and other members but if you continue to take it off track yeah it will probably be locked. (I guess that is what you want just like the other thread that was linked here previously in February huh that got out of control and never back on track?)
Do you really think that there aren't plenty of DDNers who believe some of your work to be... not quite kosher?
Yeah, and out of the 300 mod reports we can do on a daily basis that most of you don't even see I have a feeling that if you evaluate all of our work performance and the way we run the site we are fairly kosher. We all make mistakes and you can send Linh a private message anytime you'd like and he'll look into any situation for you. He does oversee all the mod reports, bannings, etc. we have a head moderator Calypso so feel free to write her as well. You have to remember that we post as members of the site. Linh has told us from the day we started that he didn't want us to stop being members. I would have posted here if I was a member or a moderator. I happen to be both.
Again, apparently observations aren't allowed at all. Why don't you go ahead and list those as a violation of the TOS? Clearly, opinions and observations are against etiquette anyway.
I would just love to know where you pulled that from? How many times in this thread have I said that opinions and observations are fine. IF you are coming out with a strong opinion be ready for people to debate you on it. Here are words from Linh:
In other words, if you can't take the heat of an argument or debate, don't post here or on any board at dance.net for that matter.
I've seen this scenario happen way too much here to ignore it any longer. There is bound to be someone out there who disagrees with you. Don't take it personally, it's just life. Who knows, maybe they have a point you didn't consider.
See, it just doesn't work that way. I'm sad about it, too.
I am sad that you come across so miserable that you need to hold onto negativity and continue to be so hostile and harsh. Someone gave you a really nice compliment and spoke about how much they liked you and it still didn't make you soften. The thread is supposed to be about flexibility and pictures. If you'd like to debate the topic please take to private messages, mod the post if you want it locked, mod the pictures if you want them removed, write to Linh about how the moderators suck, how much you dislike me etc. This thread is not the place for it and other members want it to get back to pictures as you can see. me too.

The girl doing the attitude? I remember in a thread a long time ago balletowoman said it was her years ago at age 13. (And she uses it as her avatar) |
