Hey! I am looking for some really interesting/cool/sweet jumps that are more modern than ballet. Can anyone help me out?

just make up some cool jump. usually the coolest ones are the ones that people make up and you've never seen before

We did this jump in my class yesterday. Sorry I'm fuzzy! It's photobooth's fault! The foot is in passe and the arms are up in 5th, and it travels forward. I think it looks cool.

really neat pictures...i enjoyed looking at them all..i hope my daughter will be able to do some of the moves as she gets older and further in dance.

To the girl who says you don't use jumps in modern, you're dance school must be on another planet becuase all of the comp's I go to the majority of the dance consists of different jumps and leaps and lifts. Sorry if that comes out mean.

Here's my advice if you want to see amazing jumps. Your picture and a few in this thread are from Alvin Ailey. I saw them for the first time a few months ago, and it was mind blowing. If you have "The Golden Number" in the program, get ready to hold on to your seat because it's one of the most acrobatic amazing dances ever. I guess Google Images would have some good ones...
