If I were to want a new CHEAP pair of tap shoes to rotate with my Miller and Ben Jazz Tap Masters, what would you recommend? I'm not talking very cheap, just not upwards of $100 like K360's, M&B's, etc are.

I really need shoes with a good heavy sound and NO SLIP GUARDS. I can't stand slip guards. If I have to, I'll exacto-knife them off, though.

Why on earth would you want a cheap pair of shoes? :/ You're not going to get good sound without paying for it...

I totally get what you are saying and I wish I had an answer. I really like my Angelo Luzio tap shoes though. I only have them in a 1 inch heel and haven't ever tried the flats, but the taps make good sounds.

^I might check those out.

I'm trying to make my M&B's last longer. I'm starting to really feel the edge of the tap in the bottom of my foot on my pink shoes, and I want to make them last as long as possible before I go for the Triple Threats in Grey Snake Royal or Metallic Pink goat leather and Metallic Silver Blue goat leather.
