About Valley Forge Dance Theatre
Valley Forge Dance Theatre has been performing children's theatre versions of Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Nutcracker Ballet for over 30 years. This one hour production was originally created for the Valley Forge Music Fair. Bring your little princess to come see it at the Valley Forge Radisson Hotel's Waterford Theatre. Plenty of free parking at the Valley Forge Convention Center on Gulph Road and First Avenue. Cast of 30 includes children, teens/adults as soloists. We include all of the 1890 original's storybook characters: Sleeping Beauty & her prince; Cinderella & her prince; Puss 'n Boots; Bluebirds; Hop 'o my Thumb; Little Red Riding Hood; and the evil Carabosse!
Doors open at 12:30 pm for two shows on Sunday, 5/18/08. Luncheon (tickets $20-25) at 1 pm includes chicken cesar salad (chicken fingers & fries for kids) served upon arrival, followed by the one hour "Sleeping Beauty Ballet" performance. Princess Tea Party (tickets $15-20) at 3 pm is a dessert buffet of scones, whipped cream, pastries, and tea or lemonade, followed by the one hour ballet.
Come in your best princess dress and get your picture taken with Sleeping Beauty. All children receive a goodie bag and can shop at our bountiful Princess Boutique. Tickets can be purchased online now with your secure credit card, or at the door that day, using cash/check (no credit cards taken at the door.) Go to
