So we went to our first comp of season this past weekend...we only do 2. It was Onstage New York. What a great time I had. We did good, not great, but the kids had a wonderful time, staff was more than helpful. Other studios were friendly, kids were nice to each other. Held in a great facility with FOOD! Expensive but there were food and drinks. The staff of the venue was even nice. I have been teaching ballet at studios that compete for about 13 years now, this is my 3rd year teaching comp classes myself. This is the best comp I can ever remember going to and I have been to just about every competition there is because I have taught in so many different states.
So, if you're looking for a new comp next year, highly recommended.
