About Nets Dancers The Nets Dancers are a high energy, athletic dance team comprised of sixteen dancers who boast professional performing credits including film, television, music video, and theater. Under the direction of Petra Pope and Kimberlee Garris, the Nets Dancers perform routines from the nation’s hottest choreographers in diverse styles such as jazz, hip hop, musical theater, latin, and swing. When they are not performing center court at Nets home games, the dancers appear at corporate events, private parties, grand openings, fashions shows, and charity functions. In addition, they offer dance clinics to local youth as well as aspiring professional dancers throughout the New York metropolitan area.
NETS KIDS CLINIC (Ages 6-13)
Saturday, June 7, 10:00am-12:00pm, Nets Practice Facility
-Registration begins at 9:30am
-Learn actual Nets Kids choreography from the Nets Dancers & prepare for this summer’s Nets Kids auditions
-Cost per session is $30 if pre-paid or $35 at the door

NETS DANCER CLINIC (Ages 14+)
Saturday, June 7, 2:00-5:00pm, Nets Practice Facility
-Registration begins at 1:30pm
-Open to trained dancers ages 14 & older who are interested in preparing for high school, college, or professional dance auditions
-Dancers will learn Nets Dancer choreography & receive audition tips from team directors & veterans
-Cost per session is $50 if pre-paid or $55 at the door

NETS DANCER BOOT CAMP (Ages 14+)
Sunday, June 15, 5:30-8:30pm and Monday, June 16 – Thursday, June 19, 6:30-9:30pm, Nets Practice Facility
-Open to intermediate/advanced level dancers ages 14 & older who want the real Nets Dancer experience
-Spend five days training with the Nets Dancers
-Learn two complete routines straight from the court
-Receive one-on-one feedback & audition tips from team directors & veterans
-Get one step ahead of the competition by learning choreography for the technique portion of auditions
-$200 for the five-session package. Space is limited.
