With all the favortism that has been bestowed on Kherrington I thought for sure the judges were going to rip into Mark for the failure of the two step #. I was glad that the opposite was true. That # was a train wreck! Sorry for the train analogy--I know it's tired. I thought Mark did great in both of their pieces. His solos are very quirky and interesting to watch.

Imho the right person went home. Comfort nailed the hip hop piece with Twitch and her solo was the best it has been on the show. Kherrington's weaknesses were blaringly obvious and she came off as arrogant in her solo like she didn't have to try as hard. Oh well, I wish her luck.

In regards to the judges--every week my husband will stick his head into the family room while I'm watching the show and say, "can we vote off the judges"? or "can we get rid of Nigel and replace him with Simon"? too funny coming from a non-dancer.

I can't wait for this week's show--it should be interesting!!

What nigel said about comfort, and how her solos arent as good as the choreographed things are so true. After her solo I looked at my bf and said "WTH???? THAT was supposed to be hip hop???" Honestly all she did was grab her cha cha and pelvic thrust.

Mia Michaels...WOW! The door number...loved it & Katee is pure joy to watch. I cannot believe how much she has grown on me! Others dancers are going to have to do some of her numbers on the tour because she has been brilliant in so many of them! The one with Will last week to Imagine is oficially my all time favorite! An absolute work of art! Looking forward to tomorrow night...happy dancing!

I really disliked the Mia Micheal's door number. I don't feel it even remotely expressed the emotions set up at the beginning. It was choreographed to please all of the young girls in the audience. At the beginning, I kept thinking "Is Twitch going to dance in this?" If it wasn't that I've been watching weekly and that I enjoy discussing the show here, it annoyed me enough that I almost turned the TV off. I simply did not see the brilliance in the choreography. It's shame, because I do like both Katee and Twitch.

Another example of poor judging... let me prep this by saying that I know someone here has mentioned that she/he is friends with Josh. I LOVE Josh and mean no disrespect to you or him. But we all make mistakes. At the beginning of their Disco routine, he very obviously fell out of a turn. To his credit, he saved what he could and recovered beautiful. However, the judges NEVER mentioned this. Do I think it ruined the whole routine? No. But still should have been pointed out. (Chelsie also fell out of a turn... I'm sure a lot of the dancers did last night.) (And I would welcome Josh as a dance partner any day!) =)

Speaking Josh, his story was my favorite. What a wonderful teacher!!!

The foxtrot probably was the weakest last night... the errors were obvious. But I do agree that it was the least flawed night.

Also, am I the only one who is annoyed with their lack of cutting the music for their solos? I realize that they are trying to keep them to a certain time limit, but I feel like the majority of them cut off really weird. (I did like the James Brown solo... I wanted to see more!)

I cannot believe that Comfort is back in... I detest her.
Her dancing in HipHop (as seen last night) shows that has rhythm, but it also shows that she was picked for her HipHop skills... she can't really pull of any other style of dance.

Oh, was I the only one who wasn't a fan of Tony Basil? At first I thought she was going to sugar coat everything. I later appreciated her willingness to point areas of "needs improvement". But I just felt annoyed with what she was saying... or maybe how she was saying it. Or maybe Lil' C set the bar higher.

I did like the door piece. I was so happy to see a door actually used during the piece. How many times can you see a solo at competition that has a door in it and all the dancer does is enter through it at the beginning and exit through it at the end.


LOVED Will's solo. I thought it was brillant! He is so amazing.


Do we really need two hours of the show at this point? They were really stretching it last night. I like the cute little back stories but I don't think I can listen to the judges any more. However, it was fun to see Toni Basil. Maybe she will bring Bette Midler tonight!

After all the crap that's gone on with this season (Comfort and that salsa girl even making the top 20 for starters), I've decided not to watch the show anymore. At least, I'm not watching anymore of this season. This isn't about America's favorite dancer. It's turned into Nigel, Mia, and Mary's favorite dancer and I'm sick of it. Here's to hoping Josh or Katee win because they're still my favorite, but I'm not wasting my time on a show that cares more about the judges than the dancers and a show where Mia Michaels has become a demi-god.

I do have one question,
why are some peoples solos WAY shorter than others? I mean I am sure its because it's what THEY choreographed, but to be honest shouldn't they all choreograph and dance the same amount of solo time?

LOVED Will's solo! It was different and so showy!

I liked the door piece, but did want to see more dancing. A lot of the numbers have become about how many times the girl can wrap her legs around the boy!

Why don't they mix it up and put boys together and girls together?

I have to say even though I want to MARRY Joshua, and love Katee, Will and Mark, I'm just NOT that into this season! I didn't even watch the second half yet!

I too LOVED the Mia door piece, it was amazing. Probably one of her best. I actually enjoyed most of the dances last night, far more than any night this season. I was literally cheering after each piece and even felt that the judges were a little less annoying. Yes Josh fell out of his turn and yes, somebody should have mentioned it because I was cringing! Oh well, still love him! I will be sad to see any of the guys leave tonight, but yes I do hope that it is Mark and COMFORT. If that girl does not go home, I might rip my hair out! Although I have to say after that hip hop piece I was jazzed! That was my favorite hip hop this season and it came from Comfort and Mark?

I agree, Comfort and Mark's hip hop was good but the two of them have run their course. Nigel hit the mark perfectly when he told Comfort that she was much better in choreographed pieces than in her solo- which hasn't done anything for me since the first week she was in the bottom (which has been every week)... Mark's solos too have been just plain weird. I don't get them.

Katee is fantastic and I remember watching the first episode (of the top 20) and wanting to dislike her because of the attitude she had in Vegas but I can't, she's too good! I definitely think Mark and Comfort tonight, however I was 100% sure of that last week. We'll see...

If you're wrong, DancinDiva5678, than that makes two of us. I predict Mark and Comfort, too. It's not that either one was "bad" last night or that I dislike either, I just think that they have been the weakest to this point.

^ If it's not comfort I will flip out. Why? Because obviously america knows she's not a good dancer. She has been in the bottom EVERY week.

I think what should have happened was that Comfort Danced for Jessica, and that was that, she went home after she danced one more week. Then both Jessica and comfort were eliminated leaving no girls to be eliminated last week. It would have made more sense. This just makes the show look bad. IMO

I almost cried. Will was brilliant. . . and Mark and Josh are just normal- - - Thank the lord that Comfort left- again.

I feel like I'm the only Mark lover out there. I find his quirky-ness and the way he moves refreshing! He can do mad turns and jumps, but he chooses to do the most random, fun stuff! I was so happy he didn't get cut.

I am not crazy about Chelsie. I guess I don't see what everyone else sees.

I love Katee and think she has amazing skill and stage presence, however if I see her do a back head wrap ONE MORE TIME I will totally lose it. Do something else, please!

Am I the only one that enjoyed the Foxtrot last night? I don't have much of a ballroom background, so technique aside, I felt they had great chemistry and energy. I was definitely smiling.

I have no idea what the judges saw in the disco routine. I thought it was a DISASTER! Joshua is my favorite dancer, but I was cringing. The lifts were difficult but it just did not work for me.

I can kinda see why Will got cut. Technically he is definitely the strongest, however for average American who votes on personality - he just didn't give us much of himself. Not worried about him cause he will have a GREAT dance career. Alvin Ailey here he comes.

Ok, so I also thought that Comfort outlived her qualifications, but does anyone else think she is really pretty? When she is dressed for the ballroom numbers I am always taken back by how beautiful she looks.

I feel like I died a little inside when Will was voted off. I loved Will. I think that the best all around male dancer was sent home....so sad. Comfort, I could care less. I was glad when she left the first time. Man, I cant believe Will is gone....wow.

Agreed with above posts about last night's show. I was actually watching while I was at my computer and to hold myself back from logging on here to vent because I didn't want to spoil it!

My mouth just about hit the floor when Will was announced as one of the bottom and my eyes bugged out of my head when announced he was going home. He is a fantastic dancer and someone above said something about Alvin Ailey- I definitely thought he could have joined those Ailey dancers on stage a few results shows back. So sad that he is gone! If Comfort had stayed this week I really might have been done with the season.

I feel like Katee is the definite winner and anyone else who wins above her is a mistake on America's part. Mark is good technically, yes, but his solos are just too weird. He is a bit too quirky for me, imo. Top 4: Katee, Twitch, Courtney, Joshua? Here's to hoping!
