Ok after thinking it over, one wonders did Jessica really have a rib problem (hard to tell without seeing xrays) or did she go home because she could not handle comments like Mias anymore. I do not think I could have handled what Mia said and I am pretty tough. Either way I hope she realizes how wonderful she really is.

Um...okay. What happened tonight? I don't want to spoil it for anyone. But seriously? What????? I'm shocked. I have no words. I'm just mindlessly laughing. Let's just hope she pulls out contemporary and quickstep next week!

I wasn't a fan of either girl, but the wrong one went home!!

A.) Kherington is SOOO off-beat in the video. Too cheesy.

B.) I think if Jessica couldn't handle Mia's comments and wanted to leave, then I don't think she'd be sitting in the audience. I live in her town, and it's been on the news that she was injured. Also, the dance teachers around town have been talking about her rib injury.

and C.) WOAH! to tonight's results. What is going on?

I agree with tonight's results as well. What is going on?!!? I definitely predicted the bottom two based on the two I thought were hands down going home and the other two who I thought had the weakest solos. The ones who I thought were 100% gone were not the ones sent home!

I am so sick of Comfort...she should have been gone week 1- It's a shame that Jessica can't compete anymore because I think that she is getting stronger with each passing week.

We know who is going home next week-eh? Regardless we were at that junction anyway and the underdog tends to win. At least if you're like me and root for the underdog. (Not that I voted.)

Mia Michaels and Ave marie--stellar....absolutely stellar.

So who went home this week? I was home last night for the performances, but was at work tonight and didnt' get to see the results.

YES! I also want to know who went home. I'm on vacation and couldn't watch Wednesday or Thursday and I apparently missed a heck of a lot of drama! Please tell me it wasn't Josh or Katee....

All my favorites were safe... but I did NOT agree with who went home (Kherington and Gev). I can't stand the fact that Comfort is still there. I just want to tape her mouth shut so she doesn't dance with it OPEN the entire time! And I loved Gev! I think he would have gone next week though if he didn't go this week, I think Mark will be next...

I'll save my juicy thoughts for tomorrow morning when I am not spoiling anyone's fun, but I think the most disappointing aspect of tonight's show was that there was no special guest dancer!!! I realize it was hard following up after last week, but I would have loved to have seen less of the judges saying nothing and squeeze in another performance!

Also, I think that this is the first time that they have done the boys and girls dances (prior to the final show), correct? I enjoyed that.

I do not understand why Kherington left the show, it should of been Comfort, & she even knew it. Unfortunetly it's not who's better it's who got more votes. Both Courtney's aren't as good as Kherington either but whatever. It's just a stupid popularity contest the best dancer rarely wins. I've yet to agree with the winner of this show. I loved Kherington, my other fav is Katie. My ultimate fav was Alison Hoiker, I also really loved Travis Wall & Shauna Noland. My fav guy this season is Will of course. I Wish Trumpie Card would audition already. He's amazing!

I don't think that Kherington was as versatile as she should have been. She was great in Contemporary/Jazz, but didn't thrill me in other things. I think the 2 step was her kiss of death.

Love Gev, but the other guys are so great, so it's hard. If it wasn't one boy/one girl voted off, I think it would end up 3 guys (Will, Joshua, Mark) and one girls (Katee).

I loved 5 Guys named Moe! The guys are just FAB! I thought it was a Tyce number, and I LOVE Tyce, so well done Nigel!

I was not crazy about the Ave Maria number.

Opening number was fun! If I was on the show I would have loved to learn such a different style and would have had a BLAST!

while I think that Kherington is a great dancer, there were 2 things that made me not want to vote for her:

1) I agree with the above poster who said she wasn't versatile. I just didn't see her really shine in everything, only in contemporary

2) she was sooooo obviously the judges favorite! The whole "I'm going to ignore that you screwed up that last 32 counts of your dance" bit did it for me, I just couldn't like her anymore.

Maybe this is America's way of protesting the way the judges have been acting

Kherington, so glad she's gone. Sure, she had a great smile and killer legs, but no soul imo. Put her in a group number and she did not shine at all, in fact, she looks tired. I don't mind Comfort staying on another week because it means Kerington is gone. Really, I don't care if you can do an amazing crotch kick or a triple turn with out much releve, you're boring. Of course, I can't decide when I liked her least, her solos or the group pieces.

I did love, love Gev's solos. From the beginning he showed so much musicality, strength, and by gum, creativity. He just didn't shine so much in the work that others created...though I did love him in that Indiana Jones number.

Mark, however, was the opposite imo. Did not shine in solos, but really brought everything needed to each and every choreographer he worked with. He is what I love to see in dancers. He is committed, he is creative, he is present. I'll take him over a competition trick dancer any day.


...oh, yes...I love love love Lil'C's comments. I never thought of him as an artist before he was on the judging panel, but after hearing him speak (and I think eloquent and oblivious were perfect word to use) I understand that he is.

I won't go into my rant about how much of a bummer last night's show was...

Is it just me or is it annoying how they change camera shots every split second. You can't see the full effect when they do that. it drives me CRAZY. MAYBE a couple of close ups are ok, but geez, not every dance, every second. I think I would have enjoyed Ave Marie more if they would have just let one camera do the shooting.

I agree!!! The production company that shoots our recital videos does the SAME THING, and it drives me nuts!! I know the parents want to see closeups of their little ones, but as a teacher, I wish (for once) that I could see a "total stage shot" of each routine the entire time. Grrr!

I think Kherrington lost her "cuteness" to America with her stupid butt shake at the end of her solo on Wed.

My opinion of Kherrington really soured last night when I saw the clips of her after the two dances. I know she said something like "The judges really hate us" after the first. I don't recall what the comment was after the second dance, but I remember noting that that was TWO negative things that she said. Now I admit, it may have been unfair editing, but it just left me feeling poorly of her.

I must admit that I am impressed by Comfort's presentation. It must be somewhat awkward to return to the show after you were voted off. She seemed less tense this past show (maybe she figured that she would be leaving last night and had nothing to lose.) And I think she was generally surprised that she was staying (as was Kherrington.)

The guys are much stronger.

Yeah, when she came off stage in the clip and said "really?! Really?!" I thought that was totally immature! If I had caught one of my students giving that reaction to a comment, they would have gotten a mouthful. She just looked very unclassy with that comment and completely unprofessional. And I loved that Lil C called her out on it.

Now, in defense of comfort.....after watching Ave Maria, I didn't notice comfort. That means that she blended and danced well. I have a horribly critical eye, so if I notice you, it's because you did something off....and I didn't notice her. I thought she was much better in her solo than Kherrington was too and had one great dance where Kherrington has two bombs. I think the right person did go home. It is just really getting down to the wire that it doesn't matter who goes when.....as long as Will wins!!!

^^^^ I totally agree that Comfort (while by far not one of my faves) hung in there and blended well with the others in Ave Maria last night. Impressive, but I think she'll be gone next.

I think I could listen to Lil' C all day. who needs Mary or Nigel? Sometimes I wish the hot tamale train would run Mary over. At one time I thought she was funny but now it's a little much.


I loved Gev's solo. I really like Mark but couldn't quite get into his solo. I am still stumped as to what I think of Nigel's dance. I think it had it's moments but it was a bit all over the place for me (and I am pretty much all of the place person).


And thanks, AllStar, now I all I can look at is Comfort's open mouth. I guess I was too busy watching her pull her pants up to notice her mouth being open.

I feel bad for Comfort. She's been on such a roller coaster. I think she is a very classy girl who seems to have a great personality. Even though by no means is she the strongest dancer, everyone on the show could take a page out of her book as far as effort goes. She takes direction and really tries, and even if it doesn't come out as she had hoped, she keeps her head held up and tries AGAIN! You've got to give it up to her for that.

The couples are Twitch and Katee (Contemporary & Broadway), Josh and Chelsie (Disco & Argentine Tango), Will and Courtney (Hip Hop & samba?), and Mark and Comfort (?). I don't think its a coincidence that the 2 dancers that were in the bottom 2 last week are paired together...

How do they decide on who partners w/who? Do they pick out of a hat or something like how they determine what dance style they'll perform?
