I'm going back to dance next year after taking a year off to work (worst thing of my life!) and so i need to get back in shape this summer! can you guys hook me up with some sweet pictures of dancers? ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, just plain stretching. any of your favs send em my way!

You can post pictures with out saluting, as long as they are not of yourself. If you want to post a picture of Paloma Herrera (as long as you are not her), feel free to. You will not get in trouble.

Actually no, you can't post any photos without having your 'eye'. If you have questions contact a moderator like I did.

I go to this website - www.loisgreenfield.com . . . and use a lot of her pictures for the background on my laptop. She's an amazing photographer. There are tons of different styles of dance under her "dance" and "portfolio" sections on her website. Hope that helps!

I am pretty sure you can post pictures of anything but yourself without your eye. I have posted pictures of my puppy and hot linked various images with out getting into any trouble. I am thinking you are a little bit confused. If you need help on image hot linking, this thread should help you out.

I don't think so. I have spoke with two moderators and they both said ANY pictures to be posted, you must have your eye. I have written for clarification on this matter as well. So we shall see if someone posts on this forum.

You don't need your eye to post photos of someone famous, unless you are A) The famous person in question or; B) Leading people to believe you are the person in the photo.

Thank you for that clarification Helen. I misunderstood then. I thought ALL pictures had to have their "eye" before posting them. Okay, now we all know.
