What is sabre/saber, and how is it spelled, I saw it spelled both ways on DDN so was it just a typing error or what?
While your here, could you tell me what the difference between flag, riflle, and sab_ _ are. Also, please tell me whatever else about color guard you know.
Thnx,

Ok, I'm going to do my best to explain. All of these can be spun in different and similar ways. Youtube is a great place to find videos showing how to spin each piece of equipment. The biggest difference between the equipment is the shape, size, and weight of each.
This is a flag
This is a rifle
This is a saber (it can be spelled either way, by the way)
Here are a few links that give more information on colorguard:

I hope this answers your questions! |

Saber is the American spelling, and sabre is the British spelling (like fiber/fibre, center/centre, theater/theatre, etc.). A lot of Americans use the British spelling because they think it looks fancier. |

I agree with the first and second post. They both spun in similar ways. Usually when you first start off though you would be placed on flag. Rifle and sabre/saber usually come along later with more experience.
As said above you tube can be a good source to get some videos to get acquainted with the all the equipment used in Guard |
