im trying out for our skewl team soon, and im soooo bad at memorizing dance steps...especially all in two days!!!! does anyone have any advice, or methods that i can use to help me remember everything more clearly?

OMG, I know how you feel! We get like 2 days to memorize a 3 minute and not to mention, really fast routine! It's really frusterating because I know that's the main reason I didn't make Poms last year cause I didn't have the routine memorized. My best advice is to practice right when you get home and find someone who knows the routine and is willing to help you. At my school, one of the senior poms let everyone come over to her house to go over the routine. Also, maybe you coul write it down if that helps. Hope I helped!

Hey, I have the same problem as you! What I suggest is try and memorize the dance 8 count by 8 count.... and try and find the song that the routine is to becuase that way you won't have to worry about timing ect, so practice it to the song if you have it! Good Luck! Let us all know how it goes!

maybe just practicing a lot ? and practice it piece by piece like do one 8 count then start over and do the next eight count also and keep adding in each 8 count till you have it under control

I usually just try going home and writing in down step by step and then going over it. If I can't remember anything, then I call one of the other girls and ask them. Then just practice from there! Good luck!
