What are your thoughts on her playing Roxie Hart in Chicago?

Well she was a chorus girl in Chicago ten years ago-ish. I don't think she has a strong enough voice for Roxie, but stunt casting is all the rage now. *sigh*

I personally don't feel she'll bring much to the role. I interpreted a performance of Chicago a couple of years ago, and while I predominantly interpreted Velma, Roxie did need to be quite strong, vocally and performance wise. |

Tassiemum, what did u interpret it into? When i read 'interpret' I read as Auslan as I am a teacher of the deaf and have gone to a few deaf interpretered musicals in my time.

Lil_Dancestar - where did you hear this rumour? I just heard from my agent that Chicago is auditioning and am trying to find out more info.
