I'm wondering if there are any conventions that give good info the for SO's as well as do teacher classes. My SO and I want to go to something without the kids...just for us.

The dance teacher convention in NYC is great for what your looking for, they have studio owner classes and teacher classes.
I also love UDMA it's in the fall Rhee Gold is great and there are many locations to choose from. |

I once went to an AMAZING convention for teachers and SO's. I believe it was MusicWorks? Or one of the companies affiliated. We took class from lots of instructors and my SO went to classes as well to learn more about the business aspect of dance from Daryl Retter. As an instructor I learned SO much about how students learn and what is appropriate to teach them etc. etc. I HIGHLY reccommend it! |
