Here are a few that I have made:

Snow queen: Image hotlink - 'http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/Neomi_dance/n713885380_1498423_9577.jpg'

Image hotlink - 'http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/Neomi_dance/IMG_5986.jpg'

Image hotlink - 'http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/Neomi_dance/IMG_6059.jpg'

Clara (I have recently remade this tutu as it was way to long for this dancer and the length of the skirt was too big for partnering... So it stands straight out now rather than drooping down as it does in this picture:
Image hotlink - 'http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/Neomi_dance/_X8B5040.jpg'

Here I am wearing the tutu last year when I was Clara (as you can see, the skirt had issues then already...)

Bodice details:

Flower soloist:

Two more flower soloist (they do a pas de deux as well with two of the boys):
Image hotlink - 'http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v454/Neomi_dance/n580275049_662219_8074.jpg'

Was not happy with how the bodices came out last year (they are ready made ones from H&M that I just decorated - time crunch..), so this year, I put a lot of effort in to embroider them:

Spanish:

Pink rehersal tutu:

So that is a few that I have made. Have made a few more, but cant find any good pictures right now. And plus countless rehearsal tutus, of course... ;)

Wow, Neomi, the tutus you made were so beautiful. How long did it take to make them?

Thank you for the compliments :)
To answer questions: I made my tutus using patterns and instructions from tutu.com in the beginning, although now I have altered the pattern and how to do it so much it does not look much like the original anymore. Have sort of found out what I like and dont like...

It takes me about 25-30 hours to complete a basic practice tutu...

Naomi-I really love your designs. I love the white bodice with the purple flowers and pink crystals. Wonderful job.

This is the first (and only, so far) tutu I have made. It is for the Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy from the Nutcracker. The sketch is my original concept for the tutu, and the other photos are the finished tutu with bodice and skirt details. I used a pattern from tutu.com for the bodice, although I did have to alter it and I will probably alter it more for the next tutu I make. Neomi, what did you find you wanted to change about the basic pattern? The skirt is built off of a rehearsal tutu I bought from Discount Dance Supply. I made my own patterns for the tulle and fabric layers.

Beautiful tutus, everyone. I love looking at costumes!

I have changed a lot of little things like the leg-line - I made it higher cut on the side so that the dancer could more easily get her leg up a la seconde. I usually only put 8 layers of tulle instead of 9 like the pattern says. I place the panty ruffles differently and make the leg casings another way. Lots of little things like that... :)
