I'm considering purchasing the Sarah Gold or the Sarah Platinum from Melaine Murphy.

Do you have any pictures of anyone wearing it? I've already seen Simona Mauriello wearing her's at NAN's, but do you have any other pics? Thanks!!

I am a lover of the Melanie Murphy Platium wig it is expensive but I belive worth it. The wig is best suited to a dancer over the age of 15yrs as it is quite heavy. Also the wig is very full and long and you would need to be older to carry off the look.

If you want a wig that is a showstopper , be prepared for all the dancers to stop you and ask what wig are you wearing (with a green look in their eyes) it's the one for you.

Just be careful when chosing the colour as the online colour chart is not very accrate. After getting the first order wrong I e-mailed Melanie for advice. Good luck

I just got the Sarah "Senior" Wig-- and I LOVE it... Here's what it looks like

Mines a sarah senior but it been used a lot so it was even bigger. there has been recent theads very recently about the plaitnum and gold sarah wigs , have a look so you can see how big they are .

The platinum and gold are actually very similar in size. The difference isn't size but the curls. One is split curls, same as all the other sarahs. The other is loose ringlets - a more defined curl (not quite sausages, but not completely split either).

Both are LONG and big. Its a little scary that at a recent feis I saw several U10s in the platinum or gold Sarahs... waaaaay too big for the kids.

They also have a sarah juior now - split curl for little heads.

^ Jess what's like the nearest to a 'normal' Sarah wig? I got mine back in the days of there being just one hahaha, and need a new one soon.

From what I could gather talking to them at feis and trying a couple on..

Sarah Senior seems to be the "old" sarah (or near enough)

Junior is shorter (for little people)

Gold is longer (for BIIIIG people!)

Platinum is same length as gold BUT the curls are more ringletty as opposed to split curl.
