That's my favorite competition! Mr. Dan makes every studio owner feel really important, regardless of the size of their studio or number of entries. I love them! And, the convention they offer is fun. |

Im so glad to hear all this! Were most likely attending their nationals as well and we were nervous about making a decision without knowing if we would enjoy it or not. |

I'm not familiar with this one. Do you happen to know if they come down south at all (Memphis or Birmingham, e.g.)? Our studio is just beginning to compete in a small way and are looking for some that are fairly close to our area. I will try to check them out on the internet. |

Thier site is dancers-inc.com
I cannot say enough about this comp. They run a positive, student-focused, ahead of schedule comp. Their scoring was also very approriate. We attended the first time last year and plan on adding their convention and nationals to our schedule this year.
awesome ~ Awesome ~ AWESOME!!!!!! |

My school went for the first time last year. It was the instant favorite of parents and students. We did the comp and convention, the kids loved both. The scoring is very fair and truely realistic, high gold is the top and they only give out a few of those through the entire competition, and we actually heard them give a bronze too which is a rarity these days. Loved the judges comments on audio tape as well! Well worth the dollars for the parents and that was according to them, not just my opinion. We are defintiely attending this year and nationals are on our schedule as well. |

how hard is the competition? we're useto competitions that are fun! not overly competitive where half the girls go home with nothing. For example, for solo's does everyone either get gold silver or bronze and then they chose top 3 from there? or do only 3 people place |
