Ballet Instructor - Artistic Director San Diego, CA, U.S.A. 92117
Deadline: Thu Dec 31, 2009 Available Date: immdiately Contact: ellentd@aol.com - www.ellendavis.org
I am interested in guest teaching or full time ballet mistress/instructor or artistic director positions with a professional school, university or company. I have been most recently teaching in Southern California and am willing to relocate for the right position.
I have been teaching all levels of classical ballet for over 30 years, danced with the Stuttgart Ballet Company and was a Ford Foundation Scholarship student at the School of American Ballet in NYC for several years. I am the former owner/director of Rozann-Zimmerman Ballet Center, the professional ballet academy from which I originally came as well as artistic director of other schools. Several of my students have gone on to dance professionally or have maintained a love for, involvement and/or interest in some form of dance.
Besides teaching, I also enjoy choreography and the artistic and administrative sides of directing. I love working with both children and adults and coaching dancers for performance.
I have a resume, biography, photos, and cover letter which explains in more detail my technique and teaching approach and philosophy. Let me know if you are interested in seeing these. I am willing to re-locate for the right job.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I am currently free-lance teaching and am open to adding to that or finding an artistic director position or something more full-time. Do you have anything in mind?
