 Figure Skating Excellent start to 2008/2009 Season at Skate Canada en>fr fr>en

This past weekend was the second stop on the grand prix tour- Skate Canada. Unfortunatly Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir were still out because of surgery to her leg, however the Canadian showing was excellent!
Joannie Rochette and Patrick Chan took Gold in singles, as well, Shawn Sawyer also skated to a personal best score and ended up in 5th place.
Though our top ranked ice dance team was out, Canada received the silver medal in dance and pairs.
