I totally love this wig. The curls are very big, and definitely of the sausage curl variety. But not at all like the old wigs! It's also really light. 37 Replies to Darcy Wig--as requested! |

I like it!
Love the dress, too =)
Have you tried it with a wig lift? In my opinion, it needs a bit "oomph" that could be solved by some height! =)
Looks beautiful!!!! =D |

I really like your wig and your dress is gorgeous! I argee with Lorna that it would look even better with a lift. |

Thanks for posting these! I really like it! Your dress is GORGEOUS as well! How has it held up in the last couple of months for you? Are the colors about the same as with most wig companies? Or did you get the color swatch thing to find the perfect shade?
Thanks again for posting! |

Thanks so much!
It's holding up pretty well, but you do have to baby it a bit. I always keep it in its box, and spray it with wig spray after each time I wear it.
I went with the wig colors from other companies, and it worked out pretty well.
I think I'll try a wig lift (a small one, though) for the next feis. Thanks for the suggestion! |

Oh, that is a nice wig! I like it. I think I want it, LOL!
I actually think it looks nice as is - it's a bit more "natural" (if that's possible for an ID wig!!) without the extra height. |

I love it! The length is perfect too. You could use a lift if you want, there's definitely room for it, but I think it looks great without a lift too! |

Personally, I think it looks really nice without the lift. You've got a lovely smile! |

Aww this wig looks really nice on you. Good timing with the post...i was about ready to pm you and see if you have any pictures of the darcy yet...as that is one of the ones i am considering.
I do think that you could use a small wig lift...nothing huge though.
And your dress is absolutely gorgeous! who made it? |

lol it seems treble child beat you to the punch on that one
I think I might just wrap a sock around the top ponytail or something. I might try it out tonight (if it goes well I'll post pictures)
The dress was made by one of our TC's/dressmakers, Patti Martig. She's amazing. |

Edited by angelfish10 (196983) on 2008-12-28 09:27:41 uh oh...forgot the pictures!
Tried a wig lift! It's one sock (not poodle) wrapped around the top bun. I tried a poodle sock, and I looked like a parody of even the girls at worlds
Two with my tiara, one with the team headband. And sorry I'm bad at taking mirror pictures! I always feel like such a dork...
EDIT:
Forgot the pictures, I'll post them below |

Yup, that small amount of lift added to the wig looks good! I was in favour of keeping it as is, but the added sock gives a really nice effect, especially with the tiara. |

this is soooo nice with a bit of lift. the only thing i would maybe suggest is a quiff rather than the side fringe as this seems to be the in thing currently although it really is lovely this way~!

Thank you!
I normally try to do a pouf, but I had like 20 minutes to take these pictures and it usually takes me AGES to put up a nice pouf |

I really like this style of wig as apposed to the tighter curls, it looks more natural, but still crazy enough to be called an irish dance wig!
How much was it? |
