Hello everyone! I posted before about my competition, and with all the people who responded, I want to thank you for the motivation and to hold true to my values for my events! We started a new venue this season, it's the Crowne Plaza Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ. I have a few studios registered, and I really want to get this venue off the ground! I know the holidays just passed, so I am hoping to get an influx this coming week of registrations, but if anyone is interested in taking some novice dancers, new numbers, old numbers, dancers who need to get their feet wet, please PM me! I had a good friend that was able to get some good business for their competition in new venues by some grassroots advertising. She would actually go to the studios and introduce herself to the SO. It sounded a little obnoxious to me...but it seemed to work really well and people appreciated that she actually made the effort to meet them and see their studio.
