Just a friendly reminder of a few things...

First of all, you cannot take over any departments without the permission of Oranges (President of VIS) and/or without being elected in a VIS election. You can't just jump into a department and decide that it's yours. Things have been slow lately, but it's not like no one's around!

If you notice a particular department is pretty dead, look around it and try to find out who the head is. If you can't figure it out, ask someone. Then PM the head. If they don't respond within a reasonable amount of time (say, a couple of weeks, NOT a couple of days!) THEN is a good time to PM Oranges and see if you can take over. If someone else also wants to take over, there will be an election. If not, Oranges may or may not promote you to head of that department- it is her decision and you should respect it.

I'd just like to make sure all of our members keep this in mind, because we don't need another episode happening like we did a while ago with someone trying to take over VIS.
