I am a newbie when it somes to this stuff. I have five girls that I need to get some tights for. What brand does everyone recommend and what color? I don't want their legs to look orange but I don't want them to go without tights either. I need some footless and some convertible. Any suggestions would really help.

I've always used danskin as a dancer and teacher. I'm sure that there are some really good brands out there but I suppose since I always wore them myself I continued that with my students. They have all different styles(footed, stirrup etc.) and come in various colors. Here is a link if you want to check it out. www.danskin.com . . .

Oops....I've also used capezio brand which alot of people like as well.

Revolution has great tights - various colors. They sell to Studio owners and teachers.

I like the
Revolution dark tan (#1006) for the stage. I don't much care for their regular tan color onstage, but that's just my personal opinion.

I use capezio for suntan or toast and revolution for pink or white, we typically don't use black in the recital but on the rare occassion we use revolution
