I am looking for something simple for my adult hip hop class they are doing a dance to Run the Show. So i want something kind of girly but that still suits there age. (25-40 yrs.old)Most importantly i want them to like it and be comfortable. Any suggestions?? 5 Replies to Looking for an Adult Hip Hop Costume |

An adult hip hop class at our studio wore capri pants and a fitted, short-sleeved tee for the recital a couple of years ago. I don't think it was a purchased costume; I think they bought it all from a store like Target. It looked nice on everyone, including the heavier students. |

The main thing is that they will be comfortable. Go get them some loose jeans with a t-shirt with rhinestones on it. A dark wash jean that is baggy with a black shirt would look classic but sassy. |

did you check the company stars? some of the costumes are mature looking and they have alot of fun flashy jackets and crop jackets that can work for layering. They also have a custom section in the back. you can pick the fabric and color. |

my adults actually got together themselves and went to the mall and picked out matching outfits. that way they were comfortable in what they were wearing and they loved how they looked. |

I agree to let them wear what they feel comfortable it. Most of the hip hop costumes available have something tight fitted somewhere, and unless they are all really comfortable with their bodies they might not appreciate it. Let them wear jeans, or jean capri's, or even some loose fitting capri's and a T-shirt. You could have shirts made, or buy from the store and get together and rhinestone them even. |
