My daughter is having an 18th birthday party and isn't sure wheather to have a theme or not.
She wants somehthing that little bit different that wont cost people lots to participate.

If your child/if you've ever been to one/have any idea please let us know!

You could have a fancy dress ball with masks, or a muder mystery party.I renewed my vows recently and had a tim burton theme at my wedding turned out fabalous.My sister had a big kids party for her eighteen with cotton candy and all kids games,said it was her last chance at being a kid.

My son had a BLACK & WHITE party, we decorated everything with black and white and it looked fabulous .
Everyone has something black or white in their wardrobe ,so it is inexpensive for ALL concerned.
I used black and white plates, cups, serviettes, balloons and streamers,, I even had a black and white cake, with a photo of my son in black and white in the center of it.
It was the easiest party I have put together ( and I have done MANY ).

18 Random things.
Have her friends bring in 18 things or they can go to the mall, store and pick out 18 random things.Or they can write it down and go do the 18 random things.
For example at the grocery store grab cake to make, candy, movie, make up,etc..
if they write down what they want to do the adult can monitor, for example go see a movie, get ice cream, mall, call this boy, etc...

for an unusual theme why dont you try a masquerade ball!

either that or like someone above said, a black and white theme!
you could drape white material down the walls in the garage and turn in into another room! and then have black accessories like plates and cutlery andt able decorations x
