27 might be young for a hysterectomy, but I'm so glad I had one. I still PMS because I have my ovaries, so I'm getting cravings and what not, but I don't miss throwing up, bleeding heavily and crying from the pain of cramps. GOOD RIDDANCE UTERUS I'VE CURSED YOUR EXISTENCE FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS!!!!! I would totally have the surgery again, even with the pain involved in having it. I would absolutely, without a doubt do it again.
In PMS news, Trevor and I spent $10 at Meijer to indulge my PMS cravings. 3 things of muffin mix and a box of Mississippi Mud brownie mix later, we walked out of Meijer because I just had to indulge my PMS. Haha. |

I haven't posted in here since the thread first opened
I'm currently on day 10. It's my first period on Yasmin, and it's driving me insane.
It doesn't help that my hormones are going crazy and there is a new guy in my life and I have to refrain from jumping him every time I see him.
Stupid, stupid period.
I want chocolate but I'm much too lazy to go out and get it! |

I haven't posted in here since February and I'm not happy to have a reason to post now. I'm so used to menapause and only having just spotting and a migraine that this time seems extra bad. The full gamut of rotten PMS symptoms and full bleeding. I'll spare you the gory details. I feel like I'm 14 again. Ugh.
I've used every comfort technique I have in my repertoire and I still feel crappy.

That sucks, kk!
Mine's less a "grrrrr I'm so PMS-y!" and more of a "grrrrr I hate spending money on my periods". Thought it'd be easier if I left my cloth pads at home in Australia and just relied on as-natural-as-I-can-get disposable pads and liners. I'm SO glad I have my Mooncup with me, because even with that I still have to shell out for pads more often than I like. It seems crazy to be doing so now that I've experienced what it's like to not have to worry about having to buy anything any more! |

Does anyone else get those annoying hip pain cramps? I didn't used to get them, but I do now. They suck. |

Forgot to check in haha. Mine just ended a few days ago. But I am happy to report that after taking the evening primrose oil my breasts were never sore this cycle, and I didn't have those stupid week long cramps pre-period like I have been experiencing since going off birth control almost 2 years ago.
Yay! |

My cramps are so bad, I'm pretty sure this is what having a baby feels like. It's been like this for about a year now and I told my doctor that I've started with extra strength pain killers. His solution: take 2 Aleve....it doesn't work EITHER! I'm debating a third at this point, just so I can sleep, but I don't want to ruin a kidney or something. |

I keep forgetting to visit the campfire here. Mine ended yesterday. My new typical 5 days. First day was awful though. Cramps were so bad. I took the usual 2 max strength Midol (It's naproxen for anybody unfamiliar). Instead of taking an hour and a half to work, it took two!
I was literally laying in bed on my side unable to move. Well, I guess I could but it hurt too much to move anything.
On a positive note, my cycles have been a more predictable 33ish days since taking evening primrose oil That was my pre-BC length. SO happy to be back to that instead of these stupid wacked 50, then 61, or 70 or 45 or whateverness going on.
I wish tat I didn't get such bad cramps though-makes me miss my teen years when I didn't really get them. |

Okay so like a week+ after I started PMSing my period finally came today. I am so happy it is finally here, but it is at the wost possible moment. I have cheer tryouts tomorrow and I feel like a fat blob. I am so mad that it just couldn't of come last week when I started PMSing.
Uggh!! |

Hello, Spot. You're two and a bit weeks early, and I'm going on holiday next week. What gives? Are you TRYING to ruin my fun by tagging along, too? grr. |

Massive amounts of pain. My back and abdomen are so not happy. I tried describing what it's like to B and the best I could come up with is imagine the pain from a migraine located between your hips and then swell everything in the area up to twice the normal size. I feel miserable. |

Haven't been around in a while, but as the saying goes: when it rains, it pours. I started off this morning with the beginnings of a cold or at least that is what it felt like which is no biggie. Until halfway through work when we had a massive influx of customers and I finally had a two second break to run to the bathroom. REALLY?!?!? Luckily the girls at work are awesome and keep a stash they let be grab from, but for the next four hours I had that uncomfortable feeling that I was going to leak or something (sorry for the tmi). Call it period paranoia, but even when I know I'm fine, I'm always checking and double checking. On the way home from work I developed a fever which is so not fun. So here I am shivering under the covers with cramps and the painkillers aren't helping...Sorry for the little rant! |

I got the Implanon in my arm about 2 ish months ago. I had my last period about 2 weeks after it was inserted and I've had nothing since. I get some random symptoms every now and again... Its good not to stress each month :/ |

I started on Tuesday. I should be finishing today. Still light. This cycle was 32 days. so Yay! It seems as though I am getting back on track! ALthough the first day had bad cramps that required more medicine than normal just like last time. I hope this doesn't continue to be a pattern |

Ugggggg mine started today, and I had dance ALL DAY. I had to teach too. And of course the kids had to choose today to be hyper. Lucky I almost never get cramps, but I still feel lousy. And I have a wicked intense Oireachtas workshop tomorrow. Not looking foward to that |

Yay - thanks period for arriving just before I start my new job.
Last one before this started on my birthday which was 28 days ago - my cycle is all over the place. I usually track it in my phone and its going anything from 25 - 35 days and I've got the Mirena. Augh what is with my body! |

Ughhhhhh every woman should be allowed to take the worst day of her cycle off each month. Yesterday was horrendous. I'm sure I'm ruining my liver with the amount of pain meds I have to take. Today is better, but I'm still crampy, so I have to wear pads, which make me sad. I need to order my diva up before next month! |

^ Be careful about too many meds, my liver has had some unprintable words for me from doing that. Ugh, surprise, 4 days early. Awwwwweeeesome. I'm well prepared two days before, not four. Rawr rawr rawr.
Also, Softcups. Isn't the point of using a cup to have less waste? /facepalm |
