I never get cramps (don't hate me), just a bit of the pre-period warning cramps that don't really hurt they are just like "HELLO! GET A TAMPON READY, I AM COMING SOON!" But lately, uhh the last 2 cycles and now this one, I have gotten an icky sick feeling. This has never happened before, and I am wondering if I am dehydrated, or something else is wrong. Mine started Sunday night and all day Tuesday (which would be my normal heavy day) I just felt sick to my stomach. Feeling better today though. |

I got my period today, in the middle a week's worth of dress rehearsals for a show in which I wear an entirely white costume. |

I have been mega bitchy this time round. Normally the PMS isn't too bad, but boy did it go all out this time. |

I'm nearing the end of my first month back on the nuva ring, and I know I need to take it out and let things happen next week if not this week - But I don't wannnn a! *stomps foot*
Also, do any of you on hormonal BC still get PMS symptoms around the time that you're usually due, even if you're not taking the sugar pill/haven't taken the ring out?
I usually get my visitor between the 1st and 4th of any month; and get pretty emotionally blah the week before. I have felt pretty emotionally blah this week, so I'm wondering if thats it. |

Well. That's what I get for looking forward to regular cycles...I get a stupid one! Although I have been dealing with a lot of stress with two best friends (they were roomates and one moved out without giving the other enough notice...drama..blah blah blah...)
So I'm hoping that affected it. It mirrored a past cycle that was really long. So I had another 51 day-er grrrr.
Although there were no sore boobies. and hardly any cramps. I had to take only 1/3-1/2 of what I normally do. ONly 1 max strength midol for the first two days. So that was a welcome break
Here's hoping for a short period (I'm on day 4 and it is lightening), and a more even cycle this time round.

I use an online tracker for my period and it is really great but while looking to see when I am due for January I realize that it should be starting around the 1st or the 2nd and ending the 4 or the 5th.
WHAT THE HECK!? I'm going to China right there! I am so flippen mad!
I have never once missed a period, for the most part I am like a Swiss Clock, but what I wouldn't do to get so stressed that I miss my next one. :/
I'm just really really REALLY mad. |

Time for me to join you ladies around the campfire. My period's not really that bad (I don't usually get cramps, just lower back pain) but you know what I absolutely HATE? Ruining perfectly good pairs of panties! That's been two nights in a row now, the first pair because my period started in the middle of the night & I was only wearing a pad & and second because my flow was just freakishly heavy. Grrrr. I've never really seen the attraction of them before but that seriously got me considering buying a Diva cup . . . |

^ I was told by a quilter your own spit will remove blood from fabric when you prick yourself with a needle, so you can rinse them out really well with cold water and try it if you are feeling like being a little weird. haha |

^^ ruined undies? Whenever I've leaked I've put the undies in to soak straight away - spray with a good enzyme stain remover, and soak in napisan (or similar) until the next load of washing, and they're fine once more.
This is my second period (and first full cycle) since I've stopped taking the Pill. Pros: emotional and mental health have improved a thousandfold. Cons: I think I've bled enough for three women, just today. This is why I went on the pill on the first place (and I'm not sure how long it's going to last because I've been on the pill for so long!).
Hot weather + insanely heavy bleeding = YUK. |

On day 4 of mine. Nice and light but I was super emotional saturday. Cried my eyes out because husband didn't want to dance to an 80's song at a wedding. (he has anxiety and I do understand) I didn't have any reason to be that emotional. Oh well.
Trying to keep my motivation to clean the house today. Yay.... |

Happy Valentine's to me. B is being super awesome and instead of making me dress up and taking me somewhere fancy, he's bringing home takeout so we can snuggle in our jammies and I can have my heating pad (though I will be making a brief stop at the store for midol and wine - I'm counting on him to provide the chocolate, lol). |
