Has anyone ever had dealings with Algy? I have never ordered from this company before and was wondering what they are like. What is the quality of their costumes?

I have ordered from them in the past. They're kind of spendy, that's the main reason I'm not ordereing from them this year.

The quality is good and I've never had any trouble with them on delivery, exchange or customer service.

We once had an absolute nightmare with Algy. First they said it shipped. Then it didn't ship but it would ship. Then it wouldn't ship but they'd ship us the material. Then the material shipped. Then the material didn't ship, but would we like the costume in a different material. Etc.... Nothing but lies.

Havn't used them in 5 years because I am now retired and no longer order costumes but I recall them as being a great company. I never had problems with them. But they were "spendy' as another post already said.

You know, if we ruled out every company that has screwed up I think we'd be out of companies by now. Even Art Stone missed delivery for some people's recitals a few years ago, and they've been around forever. You just never know who is going to run into problems, so you place your orders as early as you can, use a credit card if possible so you have some protection, and just hope for the best!
