Troubles raising leg

it seems when a raise my leg i dont have the strength to hold it could anyone give me some tips on how to improve this?

What used to help me was holding my leg in the possition for a few secs,and then longer and longer.ddoing this every day does seem to speed up things.

Developpes help a lot. Also if you work your leg hold, and then try letting go and holding it there even just for a little bit, it will get better as time goes on and you get stronger.

work on your control, and hold for as long as possible.

also use the ballet barre. leg up on the barre and lift and hold. then slowly lower it back. do this and work on getting stronger.

good luck and keep up the hard work. You will get there..
