It's a message that is sent from one member to another member. Only the recipient is able to read her private messages.



<b>How do I send a Private Message?</b>



1. You must be registered and signed onto dance.net.



2. Click on "Members" in the navigation bar



3. Click on "Send Private Message"



When reading forum comments, you can also click on the author's name to bring up a menu. Then click on Send Private Message.



<b>How do I read a private message?</b>



When you sign onto dance.net, the system tells you if you have any new messages. You can also click on



www.dance.net . . .



at any time after signing on to read or send private messages.



<b>How does the recipient know that she got a private message?</b>



The system emails them a notification that you sent them a private message. They need to sign onto the site to read it.



Right now, email is the only way the recipient knows that she got a message. I'm working on an online notification system that should be available in a week or so.



<b>How do I delete old private messages?</b>



This will be added in about a week.
