I love poetry for pleasure reading, but analyzing it sometimes just bogs me down. This is where all you wonderful poetry analysts come in:

On my birthday, a favorite teacher of mine gave me a card with a copy of Billy Collins' "Passengers" in it. He loves poetry himself. I found it to be a thought-provoking poem, but I guess I was a little curious as to why he gave me that poem on my birthday. Google hasn't helped me much when it comes to finding analyses of the poem; it only takes me to copies of the poem.
