Sorry I'm a day late!
Tell me if you want me to explain something again, because if I taught it the first or second week I won't re write it, but you can check back of ask me.
I'm going over a lot of what we did, as sort of a review, so it'll help if your having difficulty.
Warm up - Wannabe by The Spice Girls (Starting on a happy note)
16 toes (feet flat on the floor, only slightly lifting the top half of your foot to make the sounds)
16 heels (feet flat on the floor, only slightly lifting bottom half of your foot to make the sounds)
8 cramp rolls (Right toe, left toe, right heel, left heel)
Let's take it back a step. So, you know how to do a shuffle. Well, a shuffles is made of a brush forward and a brush back, right? So let's break it apart and do brushes.
Brush-using the ball of your foot, in almost an arch, lift your foot up from standing first parallel and do just that, brush it forward. (For the back, do a back diagonal, like in shuffles)
8 brush forwards front side and back, right and left.
Brush back- Start with your foot slightly more up to the front, instead of even with the standing leg. Then, use the same arch motion and "brush" it back, so it ends close to even with the other leg. (To the back is more difficult, start with your feet almost even, working leg slight back, and brush back. When you start again, keep your foot in the air and put your ball down in the starting position) Foot placement isn't as important as getting the brush, it will help with sounds in other steps.
8 brushes to the back front, side, and back, right and left.
8 shuffles, front, side, and back. Right and left. (Shuffle= brush forward, brush back and it makes 2 sounds)
8 flaps, front, side, and back. right and left. (Flap= brush forward, ball, 2 sounds, and eventually will happen in one motion)
8 flap heels, front side, and back, right and left. (Flap heel=flap, heel on the same foot, then pick your foot up and do the same thing again, 3 sounds)
8 flap heel heels, front, side, and back, right and left. (flap, heel same foot, heel other foot. 4 sounds. Stomp after every 8 to switch feet)
8 digs, front side, and back, right and left. (Dig= foot flexed and heel on the floor almost "digging". 1 sound)
Across the floor - Dani California- Red Hot Chili Peppers
(everything is first done starting on the right, then the left)
running flaps, switching feet (on balls of your feet the whole time. Flap right, flap left, flap right, flap left, etc. Slight transfer of weight occurs. While its slow, its not "running" flaps until you become faster at it)
flap heels, switching feet (Start on balls of your feet. Flap right, heel right. Flap left, at the same time lifting your right heel, left heel. Everytime you flap, or right before you flap, lift the heel of the other foot, it helps.)
Shuffle sides, going backwards (Facing backwards, on the balls of your feet in first parallel. Shuffle side right, return right ball to first parallel, making a slight "tap" sound). Shuffle left, return ball to parallel. Remember to slightly shirt your weight each time)
Combination - Clumsy by Fergie
The steps match the music, it will makes sense when you put it together.
Start at beginning of song, 6 shuffle sides, starting on right switching.
Hold 2 beats
Flap heel forward, 3 times
Flap heel side, 3 times
Cramp roll (right toe- can't, left toe- help, right heel- help, left heel- it.)
Flap heel heel on left to the side (flap- can't help it, heel- girl, heel- it (or help, you pick).)
Stomp, return feet to parallel (on "oh babe")
Flap heel heel on right to the side (flap- can't help it. heel- girl, heel- it (or help). )
Stomp, return feet to parallel (on "oh babe")
Shuffle front on the right. (shuffle- can't help)
Stomp back to parallel on "it".
The combination is a little fast, so don't be discouraged if you don't get everything, do what you can!
Cool down - Everytime We Touch- Cascada
16 toes
16 heels
Hold each stretch 16 counts
feet in first parallel, stretch to the floor.
Open legs in 2nd, stretch to the right.
Switch to the left
Switch to the center.
Grande Plie in 2nd parallel.
