What's the difference between your arch and your instep?

I feel kinda stupid about asking this, but... what is the difference about the arch and the instep? And where are they on the foot? Thanks!

It's the top of your foot. (When you're on pointe, it's the front of your foot) In a pointe shoe, the instep is the part that isn't covered by the shoe; above the box but below the ankle.
